Realizing the Net Zero Goal Through Concrete Actions

The “Green Enterprise 2026” award is proof of Intimex Group’s comprehensive greening strategy, which it has persistently implemented across its entire value chain:

Sustainable Raw Material Area: Pioneering the application of international standards (Rainforest Alliance, 4C, BRC, ISO 22000) and complying with EUDR anti-deforestation regulations. Currently, the Group has partnered with over 45,000 farming households, managing 73,000 hectares of sustainable coffee with a production exceeding 300,000 tons.

Circular Production Model:

Instant Coffee Factory: Switching from coal burning to reusing coffee grounds as fuel.

An Giang Rice Mill: Processing rice husks into rice bran pellets for domestic and export markets (China, South Korea).

Dong Thap Rice Mill & Green Coffee Processing Plants: Accelerating the transition to rooftop solar power.

Green Logistics: Strategic cooperation with transportation partners certified for green energy (such as Quoc Thinh), transitioning to a fleet of vehicles using EURO 5 fuel and environmentally friendly recycled tires.

Proposals to unlock resources for sustainable development

To ensure the effectiveness of the green transformation roadmap, the General Director of Intimex Group also made highly practical recommendations:

  • Regarding policy: We hope the Government will soon finalize specific guidelines on greenhouse gas inventory and carbon market operation so that businesses can proactively make long-term investments (Intimex has successfully completed phase 2 of the inventory project supported by the Danish Government).
  •
  • Regarding finance: A clear set of criteria and procedures is needed to help businesses that meet ESG standards easily access green credit packages from the banking system.
  •
  • Four-way collaboration: The Net Zero process requires concerted action from: the Government (policies) – Local authorities (raw material sources) – Businesses (technology) – International partners (finance, markets)
